Discovering the Role of Gut Microbiota in Gastrointestinal Health: Current Updates

In the field of children’s healthcare, there has recently been a growing interest in the role of gut microbiota and its impact on gastrointestinal health, particularly during the crucial first 1,000 days of a child’s life. To support pediatricians in delivering exceptional care for children, an engaging two-day scientific meeting titled “Beyond Borders: Unlocking New Insight on Early Life Development” was held by Department of Child Health, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia; supported by Nutricia Sarihusada. This event was held at the Holiday Inn Kemayoran Hotel on September 2-3, 2023 and focused on three critical areas: Allergy & Immunology, Gastrointestinal (GI) Health, and Nutrition & Metabolism in children.
